Can MS cause dry eye, and can Tryptyr be an effective treatment for it?

I've had dry eyes for ages. I've used Refresh, Xiidra, Restasis and Cequa without great results. I was recently prescribed Tryptyr and was amazed at how well it worked. I've also been told that I may have decreased sensation on my eye because my dr saw a scratch on my eye that I could not feel. I'm wondering if maybe there is an MS lesion on my trigeminal nerve and that's been the issue all along. And if so, maybe Tryptyr could be a wonderful new medication for MS related dry eye, if in fact my dry eye is MS related. I am now convinced that MS is actually the reason for my dry eye.
