How does a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis interact with pre-existing neurodivergent traits (such as those found in Autism and ADHD)?

This research should investigate the potential compounding effect on key areas: * Sensory Processing: How do MS-related sensory symptoms (pain, numbness, sensitivity to heat/light) interact with the baseline sensory sensitivities common in autism and ADHD? * Fatigue & Burnout: How can we differentiate and manage the interplay between MS fatigue, autistic burnout, and ADHD-related mental exhaustion? * Executive Function: How does MS 'cog-fog' compound the executive function challenges inherent to many neurodivergent profiles? * Healthcare Navigation: What are the unique barriers neurodivergent individuals face when managing a complex chronic illness like MS?" * Why This Matters: A person's brain doesn't exist in a vacuum. For those of us who are neurodivergent (autistic, having ADHD, etc.), our brains already process the world in a unique way. When a neuro-inflammatory disease like MS enters the picture, it doesn't just add a separate list of symptoms—it interacts with and is filtered through our baseline neurology.
